About Me...
After experiencing deep personal trauma, I found healing and strength through the ancient practices of Yoga and Ayurveda. These time-tested traditions transformed my life—helping me reclaim balance, resilience, and joy. Now, I’m passionate about guiding others on their own journey to healing. I empower people to reconnect with their bodies, calm their minds, and restore their inner harmony through personalized yoga, Ayurvedic wellness plans, and mindful practices. If you’re seeking a holistic path to healing and well-being, I’m here to help. Let’s walk this journey together.
I began practicing yoga in 2006 and have taught it for over fifteen years. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Communications and a Master of Arts degree in Liberal and Integrative Studies: Consciousness and Transformative Literature (South Asian literature and philosophy). I am currently enrolled in the East-West Psychology Ph.D. program.
I began leading the 200-hour yoga teacher training program in 2009 and the 300-hour teacher training in 2018. In addition to yoga postures, breathwork, relaxation techniques, and meditation, I teach methods that encourage holistic health, Ayurveda, and compassionate self-study through literature and writing.

I received my 200-hour yoga certification from Namaste Yoga Center in Springfield, IL, my 500-hour yoga certification from the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA, and my Ayurvedic Practitioner certification from Bhavana Ayurveda in LaGrange, IL. I am currently in a yoga therapy continuing education program.
